Vox Low is made up of Benoit Raymond and Jean-Christophe Couderc, both ex-members of the group Think Twice, produced by Laurent Garnier in the 2000s, plus Mathieu Autin and Jérôme Pichon.
Signed to Born Bad Records, the foursome's music oscillates between post-punk, cold wave and techno, licking the windows of krautrock (Can...) and picking generously from the bins of the unfortunates who hesitate between dancing or hanging themselves (Joy Division, Velvet Underground, Gary Numan...).
Vox Low's music is like the dampness that drips from a half-open fridge, like light lingering on a retina plunged into darkness, catching the dancefloor where it least expects it.
