Suddenly they weren't at school together anymore, but they did run into each other at a local punk rock show in their hometown Melsele. From skating and street grinding together to hours of rhythmic experimentation with riffs and rolls. From an almost natural point of view, Arno, Jens, Robin and Thomas sought each other out musically around their mid-20s. With a common love for raging psychedelic guitar work, they founded SONS; tearing, bickering, jamming but most of all having fun. Where the fire had already been stirred up, they are now determined to set any stage alight. SONS stands for drifting, nervous garage rock that transports you to that one jet-black corner in your skull where you can feel your mug of beer thumping apart under a black light. Think of a Belgian packet of dirty garage punk with a firm dash of Sabbath on top. Always surprising but still so recognisable.
