Jennifer Bate born November 11, 1944 in London is a British organist.
She studied at the Royal Academy of Music and the Royal College of Music in London. Serving a vast repertoire including the organ work of Olivier Messiaen, she plays during her tours on a portable organ specially built for her. She has created many works by contemporary composers such as Flor Peeters' Salve Regina (1973), Charles Proctor's Chaconne (1976), Charles Camilleri's Improvisation, Cantabile and Dance (1979), and Blue Rose variations by Ian Parrott and Peter Dickinson.
She recorded the complete organ repertoire of Messiaen on the organs of the Cathedral of Beauvais and the Church of the Trinity (Paris) with the world's first engraving The Book of the Blessed Sacrament.
