The band Cherry Lips was born in 2005 thanks to Stefy and Karima, who first met while studying in a high school in Verona. The girls wanted to form an all girls, young and pure rock style band influenced by Ac/Dc, Aerosmith, The Who etc. The songs would have been sung in English as Stefania Parks (guitar/vocals) is an English native speaker (other than daughter of the writer Tim Parks). After a few line-up changes, the band was finally ready with Serana (drums) and Elisa (guitar).

Cherry Lips play a glam rock full of energy and they recorded their first cd in 2008 and in March 2008 they started touring Italy to present their show. In summer they won the IndieTime contest to open the FuturHeads concert and resulted in one of the seven bands selected for the FreeMusic Audition contest, so to open the Elisa show in the Derby Theatre in Milan. At the same time, the band recorded their first videoclip “Mean, hot and nasty” that started playing on Rock Tv, MusicBox, TeleNordEst, GetRocked, UnoTv, SulPalcoTv, TelevisioNet and that soon would have been added on the Yahoo! Music on demand.
