Courtney Barnett (born 19881 near Sidney) is an Australian singer-songwriter and guitarist from Melbourne. Known for her atypical guitar picking and her contemplative garage pop, she caught the attention of the music press in North America and the UK in October 2013 with the release of a double EP, Une mer broken peas, and promising concerts at the CMJ Music Marathon.
Kurt Vile is an American singer-songwriter of independent rock, native of Philadelphia, been born in 1980.
Founder member of The War one Drugs, he leaves the group in 2009 to dedicate itself to his solo career.

Courtney Barnett and Kurt Vile have joined forces to release a collaboration as unique and unusual as their talents, in the form of a brand new album Lotta Sea Lice in October 2017.
