Born in Metz in 1985, Deborah de Blasi is initiated at the age of 17 in the gypsy jazz by musicians met in the few clubs of her city. She is enthusiastic about this music!
Attracted by the good reputation of Nice as a "city of jazz", it settled there and feeds on festivals, concerts and meetings around music.
It is at 21 years that she enters the CNR of Nice where she makes her apprenticeship in singing, harmony and is formed on the trumpet under the direction of the great and late François Chassagnite. She also plays the guitar.
From her many experiences, she draws the quintessence of her art, combining: Django, Boris Vian and Ella Fitzgerald.
She develops a sense of scene and of the approach of the public which, today, is doing marvelous by mixing effrontery, humor and a very scenic physical presence, (which allowed him, in 2008, to be Invited by SANSEVERINO and the Trio ROSENBERG, to the festival "Des Musiques Métisses" and to ensure the first part of ZAZ during its passage in Nice).
Although singing in several languages (she speaks Spanish, English and Italian), she insists on interpreting her songs in her mother tongue, French, which she challenges herself to swing. Author of all the texts, she also sometimes collaborates with Christophe Buselli or François Arnaud on her first album, and more recently, with Frédéric Viale and Fernando Alves from Freitas. She also likes to play old themes by updating them.
