Elske de Walle ( Veenwouden , November november 1985 ) is a Dutch singer-songwriter who acts under the stage name Elske DeWall .
De Walle grew up in Veenwouden in Friesland . At the age of nine she began saxophone playing and later she also sing. In 2004 she began her studies at the Academy for Pop Culture in Leeuwarden . There she also met her husband, Sietse Huisman , drummer and teacher know - he played amongst others Twarres . Michael Hoogenboezem got a tip from management Elske her demo , which he mixed. Because he did another project for Universal at the time, the demo came to the question A & R manager of Universal Music Group rightly. There they signed a contract in 2008.
During her studies, De Walle active as singer. She can be heard on the compilation CD Get Loaded Academy for Pop Culture in 2006. She also appeared with her sister Femke as the duo Feel ( Fe mke / El Skeleton). Later Feel expanded to a full band alongside De Walle (vocals and guitar) consists of Sietse Huisman (drums, cajón ), sister Femke (backing vocals, percussion, guitar), Peter Krako (background vocals and guitar), Serge Bredewold (bass) and Jasper Westerhof (keys).
In 2007 she performed at the Frisian Popgala . She performed in 2008 with Syb van der Ploeg - the same year she took the Leonard Cohen project (with songs from the singer in the Fries were sung) a number: Dunsje my Leafde the UT .

She sang along with John Dulles from 3JS the song "Give me a name" on their album 4 Elements (January 2012).
For a campaign of Kika , "Kika Check 10", De Walle took in May 2015 along with 3JS and Shirma Rouse the song "You never fight alone" by 3JS again.
