Artist Biography
Available in: gb icon
Michael Linde began as a DJ at his home town’s most fashionable club Rendez Vous in Jomfru Ane Gade (Aalborg, Denmark), which led to presenting the dance radio show in Hit FM Dance.
Beatchuggers first single remix was S-Connection “Summerlove” (97) and his first production came 2 years later “The Vibe’98”, this remains unreleased due to copyright, but was much played by Judge Jules. The big break came in 2000 with Eric Clapton’s “Forever Man (How Many Times)”. Michael sent the recording to FFRR in London, by sheer coincidence they have their offices on the same street that Eric Clapton lives. One day one of the girls at FFRR saw Eric Clapton passing by the office door and invited him in to hear the recording. He thought it was great and gave his approval and offered to appear in the video. Pete Tong, DJ and part of the FFRR team loved the track so much he signed it. Beatchuggers featuring Eric Clapton “Forever Man (How Many Times)” became one of the big dance hits in 2000.
