A 3 piece band from Adelaide, Australia. Forming in 2012. After only a few weeks of playing & writing, Lipps started recording demo tracks in their guitarists bedroom & plan to release an EP from the same resource. With two of the members already playing in an established post-hardcore band, Lipps takes influence from all aspects of music current and generations past. The band name first was an adaptation of common word 'Lips' which vocalist/bassist Luke said ''The band couldn't be called anything else'', ''L.i.p.s seemed to be already taken so we cleverly just added another P''. It also refers to an influential 20th-Century German Philosopher 'Theodor Lipps' who's philosophies & concepts on 'The Unconscious' interested members of the band http://lippstheband.tumblr.com/
