Born in 1969, a small village called Igariden "High Kabylie", in the north of Algeria. It started to be interested in the music by listening to singers kabyles with the radio or on cassettes, for those which were prohibited of antenna. it tried to reproduce their melodies on instruments of fortune, rudimentary instruments made using cans of motor oil and of ends of wood as handles, that any kid who wanted to play of the music was to manufacture. it nevertheless was likely to touch a true rather young instrument: There was at the house an old guitar which belonged to his/her brother and which it ended up “inheriting”…
It wrote its first songs towards the age de16 years, in the traditional kind. Some were interpreted successfully by popular singers such as Lani Rabeh, or Hamel Slimane.
In 1988, it A join the theatrical “company” Meghres at the university of Tizi-Ouzou as musician for the choral society. A la même époque, il commençait à plaquer ses premiers accords sur les chansons des Beatles, Idir, Simon and Garfunkel, Moustaki, Cabrel, Inasliyen, Pink Floyd, Abranis, Cat Stevens,...Il abordait une nouvelle manière de jouer de la guitare, il découvrait la musique occidentale, l'harmonie...Du coup, ses compositions commençaient à s'imprégner de ces nouvelles influences et à prendre une autre direction, plus folk rock. Aussi, en parallèle à la chorale, il commençait à se produire sur scène, et à l'occasion, à glisser une de ses chansons dans le répertoire.
In 1998, after a small experiment of studio, concerts, emissions of radio, punctuated from uncertainty, jobs of subsistence, 1st price of the festival of the song amazigh and especially of a passage of three year by the Institute of Language and Amazighes Cultures of the university of Tizi-Ouzou for studies of magister, it returns to the music and I record 6 songs which will leave in cassette in 2001, one year after il' had left Algeria! Meanwhile, it assembles the Tura group to make scene and in the tread, they had the 1st price with the national festival of the song amazigh and 2nd to the festival of music of Soummam.
In the year 2000, it 'thus arrives to France, the guitar with the hand. Time to settle, hello studios of repetitions! it makes initially some concerts in solo - guitar and voice then it assembles a group to play on larger scenes. In 2004, it passes to the Zenith of Paris at the time of Berber spring, a few months after having recorded the album Xali Sliman.
