The Europa Galante group was founded by Fabio Biondi, fulfilling the desire to draw the attention of the international audience to a new Italian presence in the field of musical interpretation in old instruments. Fabio Biondi gathered around him some of the best Italian musicians, with whom it had previously worked in famous international groups. Europa Galante met an immediate success, and the first recording (of Vivaldi Concertos) received the Award Cini of Venice and the magazine Le Choc Monde de la Musique. This was followed by several other awards in subsequent years, including five Diapason d'Or, Diapason d'Or de l'áñéè in France, RTL Award, nominations for "Album of the Year" in Spain, Canada, Sweden, Finland and France, Prix du Disque (of Locatelli Concerto Grossi), "ffff" from Télérama (humanitarian and LUCIFERO). Europa Galante presents itself in the world, in major halls and theaters: Scala of Milan, Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome, Suntory Hall in Tokyo, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Royal Albert Hall in London, Musikverein in Vienna, the Lincoln Center New York and the Sydney Opera House.
