"La Maravillosa Orquesta Del Alcohol" also known as La M.O.D.A. is an original sextet that mixes acoustic music and instruments like accordion, banjo, mandolin and saxophone. With a sound that drinks from folk, blues, country and rock & roll.
La M.O.D.A formed in spring 2011 spontaneously after the return home of David Ruiz (vocals, guitar) after one season looking for life as a street musician in Dublin. Upon his return, inspired by the spirit of the bands of the Irish capital, decided to gather a group of friends with no other purpose than to make songs and play them live.
