Höstsonaten is a musical group that revolves around the figure of the Italian progressive-rock musician Fabio Zuffanti . Höstsonaten has released seven studio albums (plus a collection of rarities) of music including progressive rock, jazz and folk with the participation of several guest musicians. The group's name is derived from the movies of Ingmar Bergman's Autumn Sonata and its components as well as Zuffanti are extremely variable. The first two discs Hostsonaten and Mirrorgames produced by Mellow Records , followed by another four (produced by AMS records that form a saga about the seasons. The four parts of this great work called 'SeasonsCycle Suite' consist Summereve (part 1) , Autumnsymphony (part 2), Winterthrough (part 3) and Springsong (part 4). Zuffanti After this massive project gets to work on the musical version of the poem by Samuel Taylor Colerdge " The rime of the ancient mariner . "disc that contains the first four parts of the work comes out in April 2012 for AMS. the final three pieces will be part of an album planned for 2013.
