" Are og Odin " was a radio show on NRK P3 . The Program managers Are Sending Osen and Klaus Joacim Sonstad , the latter in the role of sheep farmer " Odin Jensenius ."
Are Sending Osen sent through the radio show " Just Are" in 1998 after having participated with elements of the program " XL ". Odin was the first as a contributor , but were eventually included as permanent presenter when first broadcast by Are og Odin started 8 January 2002.
They were named the "årets radionavn" (the radiovoice of the year) in 2005 , and received the audience award at the same time . " Are og Odin " was awarded the Norwegian Language Youth prestigious award for having used dialect in a positive way , and they 've been playing a lot of languages and dialects throughout the program's history.
The 19 December 2005, it opened its own Are og Odin Museum on Tyholt in Trondheim, where artifacts submitted from radio listeners are exhibited .
Last Broadcast was 23 December 2005 , which is ahead led to great media attention . The same day they launched one reminisce website and in BBC1 could see the documentary about the program and the characters Are og Odin .
