The Kill Devil Hills is a West Australian 5-piece rock band formed in 2003.

The Hills’ gripping live acts and recorded work have variously been described as swamp, punk, country-rock, blues, folk; the diverse textures of the band’s sound ranges from mournful heart-heavy ballads to screeching, visceral jungle punk.

Having toured Australia extensively the band has also started venturing abroad, touring the US and Canada in 2006, and recently completing a 40-date odyssey thru Western and Eastern Europe, returning again in October 2011.

The multi-award-winning group has released 3 albums, Heathen Songs (2005), the Drought (2007) and Man, You Should Explode (2009), all thru Torn and Frayed/Shock in Australia/NZ, Bang! Records in Europe. The band is currently at work on their fourth album.
