Hi-Fidelity Dub Sessions is a series of dub collections compiled and released by Guidance Records, a Chicago-based label most often associated with deep house rather than this sort of music. Of course, these collections don't compile classic Jamaican dub recordings from the '70s but rather more contemporary dub tracks, most of them produced by European artists such as Richard Dorfmeister, who happens to be one of the more renowned Euro-dub artists featured in the series. This first volume doesn't feature as many noteworthy producers as successive volumes, but it's still a quality inclusion in the series, featuring producers such as Waldeck, Dual Tone, Seven Dub, and Small World.
