Originally called Some Town Somewhere, the studio release for the country singer-songwriter was produced with Buddy Cannon and features a guest appearance from P!nk.
On its release Cosmic Hallelujah recieved generally positive reviews. Allmusic wrote ---- The nifty thing about Cosmic Hallelujah is that it plays as if it's a passion project: Chesney is determined to connect with his times without abandoning himself, and the result is one of his best records.
