Arguably Motown's longest-running and most consistent act, the Temptations were top-notch, and this single-disc Motown sampler offers plenty of proof of that, including the classic singles "Ain't Too Proud to Beg," "Papa Was a Rollin' Stone," "My Girl," and "Just My Imagination," to name just a few. There are plenty of Temptations comps on the market, and this one isn't the biggest or best by any means, but what's collected here is stellar and solid and will sound just great in your stereo as you're headed down the highway into the setting sun.
