Now That's What I Call Music! 53 or Now 53 was released in 2002 on audio cassette and Compact Disc. The album is the 53rd edition of the Now! series in the United Kingdom. Eva Cassidy's "Imagine" was not a UK hit single, although her album of the same title was a UK number-one album.

Now 53 features six songs which reached number one on the UK Singles Chart: "Heaven", "Aserje (The Ketchup Song)", "Round Round", "The Tide Is High (Get The Feeling)", "Colourblind", and "Without Me".
