Baladas en español (Ballads in Spanish) is a Spanish language album by Roxette, released on 2 December 1996.
"Un dÃa sin ti" and "No sé si es amor" were released as singles, though almost every song was frequently played on Latin American and Spanish radio. The album was certified 2× Platinum in Spain, Platinum in Argentina, Chile and Gold in several Latin American countries. The compilation has sold more than a million copies so far.
A curious fact to note: In countries like Colombia, Chile and Venezuela, the other songs that were not singles, frequently sounded in the musical pattern of Radio Stations, and this, on its own initiative the same announcers and producers of radio programs as a way to publicize others good-songs on the album that will wouldn't sound like promotionals singles in the radio, this helped a lot to raise awareness the album in these countries and motivating the public to go to buy the album quickly
